š ļø Enhancement Request: Visually Show Taken Time Slots in Calendar to Signal "Busy"
A
Alan RistiÄ
šSummary
Enhance the prospect-facing calendar UI by visibly showing unavailable (already taken) time slots instead of simply hiding them. This subtle UX enhancement adds psychological triggers of urgency and scarcity, improving booking conversion for users who want to appear in-demand.
Current Behavior (BEFORE)
Unavailable/taken time slots are hidden.
ā The calendar only shows remaining available times.
ā No visual signal that other slots have been taken.
ā Prospect cannot tell how ābusyā the calendar is.
ā No urgency or scarcity is triggered.
Suggested Behavior (AFTER)
āļø Show unavailable/taken time slots as visible but struck-through, greyed out, or otherwise marked (similar to whatās shown in Calendar Debugger).
āļø Add option to turn this off in Calendar Settings (near "Look Busy" setting)
āļø This allows the calendar to look busy and signal demand.
āļø Prospect sees "these times were available, but are now gone," which subtly pushes them to book before other slots disappear.
āļø Clearer framing of availabilityā"this is whatās left" instead of "this is all there is."
BENEFITS
šŖ Boosts perceived demand and scarcity ā better conversions.
šŖ Helps businesses look in-demand (a form of social proof).
šŖ Adds psychological friction in the right direction: "Iād better book now."
šŖ Uses UI already available in Calendar Debugger (strikethrough style), so it's feasible.

Iād love to see this as a native option in GHL. Happy to further clarify or provide examples. š¤ PLEASE UPVOTE.
