Currently, when multiple users are assigned to appointments in the GHL calendar, each user is automatically assigned a color. However, the only visible indicator on the calendar view is a small colored bar on the left side of the appointment block. This becomes difficult to read at a glance, especially when the calendar is predominantly styled in a single base color (e.g., orange in the attached screenshot), and many of the user colors are too similar to distinguish clearly.
Suggested Improvements:
Full Block User Coloring
Instead of a thin indicator bar, allow the entire appointment block to be filled with the assigned user’s color. This would greatly improve visual clarity—especially when quickly scanning a full calendar with multiple users involved.
Manual User Color Assignment
Introduce the option to manually assign or adjust user colors. The current auto-assigned palette often uses colors that are too similar, making it hard to differentiate between users. Giving admins the ability to set unique, high-contrast colors per user would solve this.
Optional Toggle
Allow users to toggle between “full color fill” and “colored indicator bar” for appointments, depending on their personal preference or team workflow.
These changes would make the calendar more usable for teams managing a high volume of bookings and improve the overall user experience.
