User Research for "Add Guests"
Hey everyone! We’re developing "Add Guests" feature in "Calendars", and I’ve seen that you’ve voted for this feature on the Ideas Board. I’d like to sit with you to explore and understand the use cases where you would think of using this feature. This would allow us to gain insights on what would be the best way of building this feature for you! Basically, we want to ensure that what we build is built to help you from day 1 of it's launch.
If you’re interested and have 20-25 minutes to chat (I promise to keep the time!), please click here (https://api.leadconnectorhq.com/widget/bookings/calendars-add-guests-user-research) to book a slot as per your schedule. We totally understand if you cannot make it.

The customer needs the ability to add guests, not just the account user. I work with interior designers, and many of them have virtual or executive assistants. When they book a demo or onboarding call, they want to be able to add their VA or EA to the call as well.

Why is this with 150 votes in "Upcoming" yet ideas with over 200 upvotes are in "Under Review"....

test test: because it is not a simple majority rules equation.
Sometimes simple incremental improvements happen with only a single vote. Other requests are basically a full application in and of themselves. HL has to prioritize their efforts. They are taking input from us; but their project management team has to decide what and when and where to apply their limited resources.

Keith3 Besherse: thank you for this response. This actually makes a lot of sense. It would be great to see maybe a distinction or recognition of most voted on posts from the community. Then maybe just a simple explanation as to when and why it may not happen as fast. Like you said some could take more development time. I think that would help the community still see they are heard vs seeming like they are ignoring upvotes on certain posts.

test test: yes, that would be great feedback from the dev team.

Merged in a post:
manually add multiple invitees to calendar

Accounts FulcrumConcepts
Manually be able to invite multiple invitees on calendar for meeting where multiple client employees need to be on the same Zoom call for example. Not open all the time, but ability for user to manually add invites to a calendar event.

As of now when a user wants to add multiple contacts to an appointment they can do that by editing the created appointment and adding the users. From the Booking widget, one can now choose Class Booking where in you can decide how many attendees you want in the same class/session. The last piece which remains is the ability for the contact to be able to add guests while booking the appointment, which is being worked upon and should be out in the next couple of weeks. Merging this with that idea.

This would be great. Sometimes we have meetings that need 2 staff members to attend, so would be great to add them at the same time as making the booking. Also, some clients have a conference room where they hold their face to face meetings. The sales people need to book in their own calendar but also add the booking in the conference room. So the option to add to an extra calendar (which could be a guest) would be fantastic. Also, sometime we have meetings with 1 staff member but 2 people from the client side so we need to add to people to our appointment.

I hold Coaching Calls with my clients and need multiple people to attend, so the person booking the slot needs to add other people, and then receive the automations individually. Like on Calendly where you can add a guest. This is a big one for me when meeting with clients who have multiple people needing to be on the call.
The Class Call doesn't work for this because it means other people could book.

Yes, along with this, we'd need all the attendees to receive the same automated scheduling reminders as the primary attendee. This is very important to make sure that all attendees receive the same dial-in details and reminders.

Would this allow the following to happen:
Client has 6 slots available for each timeslot.
One person can book all of those 6 slots (group booking)
Calendar will reflect and manage this and markout that slot based on the group booking above.
