Associate Appointment with Opportunity

Currently appointments are only associated with contacts.
This means if you have "multiple opportunities per contact" turned on, the "Book/Update Appointment" tab in the opportunity effects every opportunity for that contact when changed instead of just that opportunity.
I would like to be able to associate an appontment/event to the opportunity itself.
(This also holds true for notes)

This would be huge! This is probably the biggest shortcoming of the entire local services workflow.

One contact can have multiple opportunities open at the same time, often in the same pipeline. When I open an opportunity and click 'Book Appointment', the appointment attaches to the contact — not to the opportunity I booked from. Every opportunity card for that contact then shows the same appointment badge, and workflows can't tell which opportunity the appointment is actually for. Please link appointments to the opportunity they were booked from, not just to the contact. This is essential for any business where one customer can have multiple deals running at the same time.

One of our clients use Opportunities EXTENSIVELY. Most of the time (if not always), a single contact have multiple opportunities. And most if not all opportunities have have appointments related to a specific opportunity.
In itself, not being able to create an appointment SPECIFIC to the opportunity is very chaotic from a business perspective.
I hope to see this feature included soon 🙏

We need this for sure. Home Service businesses will greatly benefit

This is a BIG pain for us if an opportunity has multiple appointments. Let's say we have two appointments: a initial and follow up, the opportunity display only shows ONE of the appointments. This is very annoying. I should be able to see the history of the appointments with that opportunity.
Plus if we have reoccurring work with that client and multiple opportunities, the appointments become a mess and we don't know which appointment is for each opportunity.

This is a HUGE issue by my clients. A contact could have multiple Opportunities, each with its own Appointment, BUT all the Opportunities only reflect the most recent Appointment.
One example of the issues this causes, if an "Opportunity" is updated and should update the associated Appointment as a result, it's not and so the Contact could be active in an "Appointment Reminder' sequence when the Opportunity update SHOULD remove them.
Also, we're not able to look at an Opportunity card and see/know the Appointment details attached are correct. We basically have to manage Appointments independent of Opportunities. Ugh.

Without this feature, I have not been able to create an elegant workflow that checks whether a specific opportunity has had its appointment scheduled.
