Adding custom fields to calendar booking and including in calendar event

Depending on the calendar, I'd like to ask my customer/client/prospect/colleague what they would like to discuss during our meeting. I want them to be able to input that information into a field and then have it included in the calendar invite so we're both on track with a general agenda for our meeting.

To enhance the functionality of custom fields, I propose adding a new (toggleable) custom field type specifically designed for individual calendar events. This would allow calendar event-specific fields to automatically appear alongside the date/time picker whenever an appointment is being booked.
I'll provide a specific example. I am currently working with an indoor playground client who is using the calendar feature to keep track of upcoming birthday (or other) booked events. However, as they are using custom contact fields, it is difficult to book an individual for multiple events because it would involve clearing the fields that are already populated. Thus, custom fields that track a specific calendar event (and can only be changed on the appointment edit page) would be a lifesaver.
I'm sure this proposed feature would also find use in plenty of other event/hospitality-based niches.
