Add To Calendar Link For Events

At the moment the 'add to Google calendar' or 'add to iCal / Outlook' only works if a workflow is triggered via a calendar booking.
It would be great if these links would work when we create an event inside a workflow.
For example if clients are automatically invited onto a members meeting without the need to book. The workflow sets the event and the email allows them to add to their calendar

Absolutely a great idea; not having to book a separate meeting. Nobody wants to do double work. Automatically invited to a members meeting is a "must have" to make this tool even more effective

I just came to put this request in! so glad someone else said it first. i wish i could upvote this more than once.
Just as another use case: we do workshops for federal employees all over the country. We just need them to fill out a registration form to let us know they're coming. we don't necessarily need them to book an appointment. However, we also want to give them an "Add to Calendar" link in their confirmation email. Currently, the only way to do this is to put the registration form inside an event booking link and make the date and time of the event the only option they can select. it just makes for a poor user experience.
