The Rental Calendar needs a proper calendar view that is:
  1. Available internally to sub-account users and administrators.
  2. Embeddable on a website or landing page for customers.
Currently, the only way to check availability is to begin the booking process and manually select the dates being considered. This may work for a customer making an online reservation, but it does not work for the business owner or their staff.
For example, if someone calls and asks, “Is September 13, 2027 available?”, the business owner should be able to glance at a calendar and immediately see whether the date is available, reserved, pending, or blocked. They should not have to simulate a new booking just to check one date.
The frontend calendar should also allow prospective customers to browse availability before beginning the booking process. For privacy, the public view could show dates only as Available, Unavailable, Pending, or Blocked, without displaying customer or booking details.
Requested functionality:
  • Month, week, and agenda calendar views for sub-account users
  • Clear availability statuses such as Available, Reserved, Pending, and Blocked
  • Ability to navigate quickly to future months and years
  • An embeddable frontend calendar for websites and funnels
  • Configurable public display settings to protect customer information
  • Optional ability to begin a booking by selecting an available date
  • Mobile-friendly display for both staff and customers
This is essential functionality for rental businesses, event venues, vacation rentals, equipment rentals, and any business that manages reservations by date. A rental calendar should allow the business to view and communicate availability without forcing users through the booking process.
The absence of a calendar view is a major operational issue for business owners and significantly limits the usefulness of the Rental Calendar.
