Ability to Add/Customize Appointment Status outside of default statuses

We should be able to add our own statuses to appointments, to best fit our clients specific business needs. For example, when working with service businesses, we need to have "on the way", "arrived", "job complete", or anything else that we would like to build a trigger around.
Please implement this as soon as possible, as it seems like a very easy change to put through that would add tremendous value to our clients!
