Coupons For Saas Plans

I think it would be great to offer specials/coupons for Saas plans in order to attract more users. I do believe this is something High Level is currently working on, but I'm not sure.

To think that this has been talked about since 2021 and there are still no robust coupon features for those of us selling GHL SaaS...

Clients signing up for our SaaS products with coupons nonetheless see the full price of the product in their billing area, rather than the price post coupon. Just another way in which using coupons to entice SaaS customers is completely broken right now. 😭

Still running into problems with coupon codes and SaaS plans. A more robust coupon system would be a HUGE win for all agency owners!
Also, please fix the order form so that the price post coupon code is displayed even when there is a free trial. Currently, SaaS plans with free trials only display $0 charges and any coupon added will not show the updated price for customers because of this.

BIG NEED>>>
We need to be able to apply and remove coupons to existing subscriptions in the Agency View.
Currently the only way to add a coupon seems to be in the checkout process, which is a major short-coming of the platform.
Please add this ability in the back-end so that we can apply/remove coupons manually to SaaS plans.
For that matter, this should be available for any type of subscription, not just SaaS plans.

You can already do this. Just create a coupon in the agency sub account and it can be used on any SaaS product from that location.

When it comes to SaaS plans, you can only apply a coupon towards the one-time setup fee OR the monthly plan. It would be FANTASTIC to have the ability to have the coupon code split into two different "results."
Example: Set the one-time setup fee discount to $350 off of the normal one-time setup fee of $747 ... AND set the monthly discount to $400 off the normal $497 per month fee ... both under ONE coupon code.
I recently attempted this and confirmed via GHL support it was not possible. So the solution was to remove the one-time setup fee from SaaS (deleted the original SaaS plan first), then add a separate "Product" to take the place of the one-time setup fee. And, I then created two coupon codes ... (e.g. DISCOUNT & DISCOUNT2), where DISCOUNT was for the one-time setup fee and DISCOUNT2 was for the monthly fee.
Would be nice to have the capability have the code have a "split" capability (described above).

Brian Kelly Can you elaborate on how you set up coupons for "monthly plan"? I've been on with the HL team, and their saying no go. Seems odd, as during checkout of a SAAS plan, there's a coupon code area. I've made codes in stripe, however, they are not recognized at checkout. Thanks in advance.

You can actually do this now. You can also make it only applicable to the onboarding fee by unchecking a checkbox.

Kade Platta - I didn't realize that, but I see it now. It must be new. Thanks for sharing!

Kade Platta can do via self-signup (e.g. Funnel) but not via GHL Agency admin area (e.g. switching existing sub-account to SaaS Mode manually) so this feature request is still valid (ticket# 2101232)

It would be really nice to have the option to apply coupon codes only to the setup fee for a SaaS plan.

Todd Heitner You can do this now!

I see that coupons have been added for subscriptions, which is great. But I'd really like to see there be an option to limit the coupon to so many months/recurrences. So, for example, you could give people a discount for the first 3 months. In my case, I actually need to give a discount for the first year of service and then go to normal pricing after that.

Todd Heitner Ok this is actually a great idea. I do not believe this exists.

I know coupons for subscriptions have just launched but it's pretty limited - fixed or percentage discounts but for either a one-off or the full lifetime of the subscription... I want to be able to offer things like 50% off your first 3 months. For 1 month free I'm presuming '100% discount' and untick the box 'Also apply to recurring/future payments' so this only applies to the first month? But how could I extend this for 3 months?
It's possible natively in Stripe and I would love to use the Stripe payment page as it's much cleaner and the UI is recognised, however, using this approach leaves me with my sub-accounts not being automatically created.
I'm stuck in a catch22 - GHL with limited coupons but automated sub-accounts or Stripe's full features but manually creating sub-accounts... Anyone else sharing in this? Recommendations appreciated 🙏

Sales & Marketing HighLevel Support any insight please? Coupons for recurring subscriptions are not offering the best experience at the moment 😔 I've added a coupon at checkout and it does not adjust the price

I am trying to do something very similar.. Definitely need to be able to give code for certain amount of months

Ramp CRM I agree, do you have a feature request for this for people to upvote. I was going to add one but if it exists it would be better to not split efforts. I just upvoted the same type of request for affilate payouts to expire after set amount of time instead of the 2 options available now 1 month and forever.

🤵♂️Eric Howell are you doing this or is this a mockup for example. Agree it should be an option, same for affiliate payouts
