Currently, there's no visual indicator in the recording UI that shows whether the camera is in portrait (9:16) or landscape (16:9) mode. When a client shoots vertically, the video renders as a small column inside a wide 16:9 frame, which looks unpolished as a finished product. The problem is, nothing in the app signals that this is happening or guides them toward the right orientation before they record.

Suggested improvement:

A simple on-screen orientation indicator, or a short prompt before recording asking which format they intend to shoot, would make a big difference. Most non-tech users naturally hold their phone in portrait mode without thinking about it, so a small UI nudge at the right moment could prevent a lot of confusion and re-recording.
