It seems to be a bug or an oversight but the reporting tool doesn't consider facebook messages as conversions / leads and it causes to incorrect reporting.

I agree that being able to see the number of conversations and is definitely needed in the reporting on GHL, but conversations should be separated from leads.
The column metrics is available on Meta Adsmanager as "Messaging conversations started" and "Cost of Messaging Conversations started"
Additionally it would also be better to have custom conversions in there as well (imported from the business ad account)
We can also consider having the option to mark the events as a conversion, like in GA4 conversions tracking, you are able to mark events that you would consider as a conversion. E.g. Leads/Contacts/calls/ Etc.

Definitely agree, this would be very useful and just a copy of the call reporting would be sufficient in the beginning. Would be great to know how many messages are coming in from each source, and whether they are responded to or not
