On the mobile app, there’s a feature gap between iOS and Android. On iPhones, users can press and hold on a message or call and tap Details to see the From and To phone numbers used. This makes it easy to confirm which number the contact called or texted.
On Android, however, the app does not display the From/To numbers, and there’s currently no option to view them. Because of this, users can’t verify which phone number the caller originally reached. This creates hesitation when returning calls from the mobile app, since the app defaults to the user’s primary number, which may be different from the number the contact originally called.
A fix or parity update on Android to display From/To numbers, similar to the iOS Details view, would greatly improve usability and prevent incorrect outbound calls.
