Theme Builder & New Themes Like Kajabi - Needs Tons Of Work!

In general, the theme builder / themes are pretty behind. This is ONE area where kajabi really blows GHL out of the water and I have lots of course creators who really care about the "aesthetic" peice of their course. So having the ability to either CREATE my own theme, or just have you guys add new themes would be awesome. The lessons of the courses should be able to be within the community learning section without having to leave the community, as well as Skool. It makes people learn and stay connected to other members using social network.

One big request when making updates to this, please don't let existing versions get affected negatively! A lot of times when GHL makes updates, any existing content gets glitchy - please allow for a seamless transition!!

Shivani Gera This is exciting! Kajabi does not have that many themes available and has instead partnered with some devs to make premium themes people can buy, so there is a huge opportunity to out-do them.

Yeah seems like a pretty simple change if you give full customization control and course builder that's similar to page builder.
Quite disappointed with the appearance and lack of easy customization ability

Overall, we have a difficult time making our course look professional using the Memberships editor. Mainly due to the Editor does not reflect what they live lesson looks like. So we make a change, save it, preview it, rinse and repeat. Also, there are a lot of issues around spacing, indenting, etc.

yes yes yes! 100%. It is embarrassing how bad these themes are and how little we have control of them. IT would be amazing to have access to the code/html and create custom ones. I love that with Kajabi I can buy a theme to load into Kajabi from creators. Sooo needed here.
Someone mentioned the girl "Penny In Your Pocket" themes Below... this is exactly what I was thinking about and missing!

It would be great to be able to customise the link for the default link that goes to the Offer page to overwrite it with a link to a sales page.
The sales page allows so much more customisation and information to be presented about the course or membership. The drop down could be 'offer page', or custom URL, or link to a funnel etc.
Maybe there's benefits to having choices whether they are currently a member or not.

Having a Theme builder work like the page/ funnel builder would be incredible and a HUGE differentiator for the market. Themes are great, but the potential to do custom would be amazing. Like mentioned in the thread, creating a theming engine, so it can go as custom as a user needs is key. Then if it works like a page builder a user can also have nicely designed pages that are protected like a course, but built like a page when needed.
If you do create nicer designed themes that are ready out of the box - you need to look at the best theme builders like https://www.pennyinyourpocket.com/shop-kajabi-product-themes , who makes some the best Kajabi themes. She offers different formats that appeal to different types of businesses. Her themes are nicely designed but they are still customisable as well. So for layout and use cases this would be a good reference. I've used them and they are great! Kajabi limited how much she could customise (and how much the user could customise), always holding the user back.
But if you can allow users to build this area like the page builders - it would be next level that would scoop up so many competitors. I have searched high and low for this - it doesn't exist YET.
I was on Kajabi but currently use Thrive Apprentice (WP) due to its customisation, but it's a pain to work with Thrive, and no other WP LMS is capable of great custom design unless you hire a developer. Thrive Apprentice is another one you might want to look as an example where users can customise the course design. It's pretty cool!
This one aspect is the thing holding me back from going all in on HL courses. I hope we see this come alive soon! :-)
