Kajabi Course Importer Migrates Category Names Only

The Kajabi course importer consistently only migrates category names, but no lessons or lesson content. I have actually never run a successful import of a Kajabi course despite seeing videos of other people successfully importing. Every time I have ever tried to do this I have ended up having to manually migrate the course for my client. I have reviewed every support article I can find, ensured all settings / themes / login path / credentials / etc are correct, I have enlisted the help of HL Pro Tools and of GHL Support - and nobody I've encountered thus far has been able to identify anything I'm doing wrong and says it needs to be escalated. This is now the fourth client I've run into this issue with since the importer was released and the issue still persists. Please fix the importer - it's such an important feature that draws in clients, but I have never seen it successfully work for myself.

Alisa Cerney see if you can get on a Zoom call with HL support. I had an issue earlier this fall and they escalated it to the Dev team who were able to get it to work after 1 week. I've done successful course imports for 2 clients using the Kajabi importer after a little troubleshooting. Here are the steps I followed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-FgdpNew8E and the only thing that needed to be changed (which caused the same issue you're explaining here) was that instead of using the link shown at 6.26 in the "Enter Kajabi Domain" field, you need to use the link to the login page that you receive in your email inbox after setting up a learner profile. It should be something like: https://courses.yourdomain.com/login ✅ (not https://yourdomain.mykajabi.com/login ❌)

Linn Kloster OMG definitely trying this! I've worked with support a few times, but GHL support always feels like they're playing a game of hot potato - who can get the ticket off their desk the fastest without actually having to figure out the problem. GHL should definitely update their guides and videos to include this important distinction in the login path!
