Many courses require participants to complete activities—not just quizzes or assignments. While quizzes and assignments are great, they're still question-based and don't replace forms that collect information to be used later in the course.

It would be great to have native GHL Forms as a Course lesson type that save responses to Contact custom fields and allow those values to be recalled in later lessons using merge fields.

Interestingly, the custom fields already appear as merge field options in the Course editor—they just don't populate when the lesson is viewed.

Right now, embedding a GHL Form via an iframe updates the Contact record successfully, but those custom field values can't be recalled in the Course. This makes it difficult to create personalized learning experiences like goal setting, workbooks, action plans, reflections, and other multi-step activities.
