Coupons for Memberships/reoccuring charges & Subscriptions

We need to have an option to create coupons for membership/subscription plans. to enable coupon codes for offers that has recurring payments. Absolutely insane that we still can't use coupons for memberships! This needs to be added ASAP as it's seriously hindering the growth of my business and is such an elementary and essential requirement. I've seen posts about this dating back to 2022. How can we get this sorted?

Yes, it would be helpful to be able to enabled a coupon field on the checkout page of membership offers that are for a recurring-payment product/ payment plan.
