Right now, we don’t have a way to grant automatic access to private communities after a purchase. It still requires manual approval, which creates a lot of friction for our clients. When will this feature be offered?

Why not Make "Offers" for communities as well and Similar to Automations

It seems to make sense to me to make "offers" for communities (free or paid) and then allow similar automation triggers. Right now it is VERY unclear how to give someone access when they pay versus when its Free.

Automation to automatically allow new PRIVATE group members into the group without a 'pending approval' message and manually having to approve private group members - THis is positively Ridiculous to have to manually approve new members to a Private community.
PLease make it automated that they get granted community access immediately- and give us an OFF switch in case some communities still need manual approval for members.
Public communities already have automatic joining and approval and there is no waiting for manual approval to get members in. This is a MUST for private communities too...especially when they've paid to be part of one and they need immediate access

Nomiki Georgiadis I found a workaround! You can create a trigger link that contains the invite URL, and then create a custom value linked to that trigger link. For example, when sending an email with the webinar invite, instead of inserting the standard URL, you’d use the custom value.
Then, in your automation, set the trigger to “Trigger Link Clicked” and follow it with a “Grant Access” action (or any other action you'd like to apply).
Hope this helps!

Gaby Escobar thank you, much appreciated. I will make some time to test this out. Have you used it yourself to grant auto access to private groups?

Yes! Once I had the email set up with the custom value, I sent a test to a friend and it was automatically approved.
However, if someone tries to join using the direct link from the community page (screenshot attached), they’ll need to be manually approved. Only those who register through the trigger link will be automatically approved.

Also add the ability to create posts to certain groups and change membership role as workflow automations for communities.

Yes! I was just about to post this. Really easy to implement into communities.
