Currently the "Instructor" of a course is just a text field with no real use other than to be displayed as part of the course description. I would like to see a real contact added so that notifications can be sent to them when students comment or submit an assessment that needs marking.

The way it is now, staff need to actively monitor the Course Statistics page to see if there are any assessments that need marking which is unrealistic. The system should be able to notify a user when a student submits work to be marked.
