API Access to Memberships

Add a new section to the API to allow CRUD operations for all course information (product, category, and post) in the membership. Ideally expand this more for the new community features as well. At minimum I should be able to create them and update their names, but being able to do html content as well would be even cooler.

Add new content to existing courses via API

Please add more API endpoints to do more with courses, such as adding new content to existing courses, even if just appending to the end. This will allow us to build courses offline in a Google sheet and then import and provide more content or updates via the API. Right now, the import ability is great but then everything becomes manual at that point.

100% agree with this. The import functionality is a great starting point, but once a course is in the system, everything becomes a manual process, and that's where the friction (for me at least) really adds up.
What would make a huge difference is having API endpoints that let us update existing courses, even something as simple as appending new content to the end of a course (as suggested above). That alone would open up a workflow where we build and manage courses through automations like Zapier, then push updates or additional content via API without having to touch the UI every time.
A few things that would be especially useful:
- Update or append content to an existing course
- Add new modules or lessons to a published course
- Update course metadata (title, description, settings)
- Potentially batch-import content changes across multiple courses
Right now the import is a great start, and the API needs to grow alongside it so the whole lifecycle: creation, updates, ongoing content additions can be managed programmatically. Would love to see this on the roadmap.

Posting this one so the mods can combine the two in whichever category is best - really would help to have this feature! https://ideas.gohighlevel.com/apis/p/api-access-to-membershipscommunities

Yes - big opportunity here to gain marketshare from Kajabi and BuddyBoss
