Allowing the COURSES and LESSONS to be labeled as something else.

Allowing the COURSES and LESSONS labels to be changed to whatever would be amazing. Actually lost a client because those labels cannot be changed.

Option to remove/change the word "course" in membership portal
Marinel Padilla
We would love to have that option to remove the word "course", because we won't actually be using the portal for that. We just wanna use it to give our client their own portal where they can see our monthly reports (blog content posts, images and progress report).

i'd love this option too as it has so many other purposes than just "courses" but not being able to change that makes it look like its a bit shoehorned into something it wasn't intended for, and also confusing if you aren't using it for courses!

Yes please. "Lessons" can be very off putting for some people - triggering bad school experiences for example, that results in them disengaging from the course.

was this ever resolved? I too don’t use “courses” as my information is for executives and they are coached and/or in programs

I second these comments as well. Many people want to create content but move away from traditional academic language and focus on what matters most to those participating in the community. So hopefully, we can have the provision to have courses changed to something else.

I have a client asking for this

I second these comments! I don't sell 'courses' but 3D printable files and my customers are CONFUSED. Making these things editable would be so good! See what we have to send with the login email to reduce the questions and confusion??

So many specific examples Shivam HighLevel. Rather than the particular “ability to change X,” imagine all these suggestions have a consistent theme. The dev team needs to assume each sub account will be used very differently. Instead of hard coding the buttons and colors everything needs to be editable. Also, the brand center (whenever it goes live) should control these colors and terms.

Chase Buckner, there is a consistent theme in many of the suggestions on the ideas board.

not seeing the value here. can you provide an example?

Dilshad Mehta: I use memberships for a magazine subscription. There are NO lessons. We need NO progress section. It would help to be able to remove the Start Course button, change the title from "Instructor" to something else (Editor or Publisher in our case). And of course the Next Lesson buttons are useless unless we can change them to Next Issue, but better to remove or hide it completely.

Bill TB: what a creative way to use memberships! I upvoted 😊
