Call forwarding after timeout
L
Lonie Murray
Our company has a phone answering service. We want to have the incoming calls ring our users and after a timeout (not picked up by one of our users) forward the call over to the answering service phone number. This way we never miss a call. The IVR system will not work for us as our 20+ year old phone numbers are in Twillio and GHL's IVR system only works with LC phone numbers. Currently, the forwarding feature in the edit phone numbers section immediately forwards the incoming call to the specified number.

Lonie Murray I'm sure you already have this sorted as this is an older post, but if not, you can contact support and request they change the phone system from LC to Twilio.

It would be great if you could create a feature that forwards missed calls to the user's cell phone number. As an example, after X seconds of phone calls to each user's VOIP numbers going unanswered, the call would forward to the users cell phone number so they have a chance to answer the call if they are away from their computer and can't answer VOIP calls.

I really need this. Spend 5 hours today trying to configure GHL to do this and it simply doesn't work. Seems like a simple solution and would really value having the ability to forward to a 2nd number after a specified amount of time.

Need this. We need a backup if someone is busy or doesn't answer.

Please add mctb feature for multiple employees within a sub account. I don't see where to add suggestions so this is the closest I found. Situation is mctb is triggered in a workflow for the business number, but there are two owners and the other owner has asked for his cell phone to receive mctb when someone calls his personal phone, not the business phone. Thank you.

Definitely a yes we need this now!! Great benefit for a 24/7 business who need the help of an answering service for nights and weekends and overflow help during the week.
