Calling using third party service example DialPad
S
Sean Ireland
Twilio is great for the part it takes in GHL. I am looking at using DialPad as the Manual Call process. I was hoping we could connect third-party VOIP services to GHL to save money and so much more. This really would save money for the bottom line for a lot of people.

Custom Call Provider feasibility with GHL
K
Kumail Lakhani
We need to give our customers the feasibility to use our own tracking numbers using our own custom call provider, to make Outbound calls via GHL Web interface, and not just limit it to twilio or LC
This feature on GHL will really help alot of people. Kindly request you to do the needful at the earliest.

Add More options for phone system - Mobile- voip or HGL twillio

We should have more options in the ability to select where the call is sent from
- Using direct mobile or Voip
so when pressing call within GHL the native action would be to dial from the preferred method.

Option To Make Outbound calls from your chosen mobile number instead of twilio number
M
Mustafa Omar (Owner)
Make Outbound calls using power dialer from your mobile number instead of twilio number because twilio number is not saved on their system and it is not recognised. I want to make calls inputing/using my business mobile number.

3rd party VOIP Provider Integration
M
Mike Upton
Added ability to use external 3rd party VOIP providers like Intermedia, 3CX, Ring Central ect that many businesses are already using. This would make the sell for using GHL easier as the end users don't have to change from a product that's working and they like.

We have clients already locked into RingCentral contracts who won't switch. Being able to keep their existing VOIP but still use GHL's automation and tracking would solve a lot of friction in onboarding.

I really would like to get dialpad linked to GHL as well

Integration of third-party VOIP providers will be very helpful, especially for some VOIP providers already working in countries. It would make the integration of phone numbers easy. The provision of numbers for both SMS and voice in some countries becomes easy for some providers who have already worked in such countries.

Also there are huge problems with the ramp up. Some business want to use the services but it becomes worthless if they are camped at 100 messages a day. Then you have to use that enough to level up, again again and again. Our prospective clients have massive client lists themselves and its impossible to use GHL for clients at that scale. Which is our entire business model. We made a switch only to find out because the caps are basically hidden in a few sub folders. So now we are sitting here going, can this platform even work for us? Amazing features and abilities, but if we can actually send text messages then the automations are worthless.

Kaleb Mccubbins I've heard you can get on with support and ask for the caps to be removed. No way to do it via the software, but apparently support can lift them for you.

Mike Upton correct i was able to do that. They actually got back to me immediately it was amazing. But for us we were also using it for our property management and we are just communicating in that campaign to lease holders. Thanks or the message reminded me to update this to mention.
