DND - Bouncing Contacts
closed
The way the system currently works is that it tries to contact DNDs when you send an email - then it "bounces" back once it figures it's on DND. DNDs should not be involved in this action at all - can you separate this or completely stop the system from triggering for ALL contacts?

DND and Invalid email contact will not be involved in sending the emails.

It seems like it should be a simple fix.

yes. this would be a huge improvement to have this stop doing this

I agree with this - it should NOT be sending to a DND and then counting against us

Agreed!
Yes, please address this. Most marketing platforms (ie MailChimp) will not attempt sending to contacts that have chosen to unsubscribe. DND is the unsubscribe filter on high-level.
DND contacts (partial or full DND enabled) should be filtered out or excluded prior to sending, not filtered out during sending, regardless of the smartlist used or filter.
IF High-Level is even attempting to include those contacts that raises some serious issues if DND fails for any reason. Legally (in Canada/CASL) we cannot send to contacts that have chosen to withdraw from marketing emails

We are running into the same situation. Because it tries to send to DND contacts, our campaign is flagged for having a high bounce rate.
