For example, if you want to create an invoice for $100 and then the next one that comes through the workflow is $500, you would need 2 separate invoice templates. So it's not usable to me as-is. Please allow adding product line items in the Workflow Action's settings as well as overriding the Price per line item and the Quantity. You can see from the screenshot there are no such options.

Yea it's crazy that I can't invoice an amount based on a contact or an opportunity field.

This!!! Surprised this is not requested more already. Creating a template in advance for every possible product, price, and discount combo is crazy.
