Recurring Templates Glitch

When setting up an invoice template for yearly recurring billing, the template has glitch that doesn't intuitively allow us to rebill the customer on same date they originally billed for 1 year later.
So for example, the customer bills February 5th, 2023... the invoice if billed yearly should allow us to set up for them to be re-billed on Feb 5th every year they continue to stay and don't cancel.
Currently this is not working right..... unless i am not doing it correctly... Please advise.
Notice in the screen shot i took, it only allows for choice of what day and month... but this is a set and forget it template.... correct?
