We have clients that issue 1 time invoices but then it turns into a recurring purchase and it would be great if that option exited. Another anecdote is a Chamber of Commerce that missed creating all the invoices for their members as "recurring" and did them all as one-offs and now need to do the same labour next year...

Two situations have occurred where I took a deposit on an invoice and the job reduced but now I can't cancel or alter the invoice without issuing a refund. This is not good business.
