Tracking customer spend in contacts

It would be awesome if we could see the lifetime spend of each customer inside of the Contacts section.
With Infusionsoft, if I click on a customer, I can see all of their information, including what they purchased, when they purchased it, if they cancelled, and how long they've been a customer.
What is the purpose of putting the transactions completely separate from the customer?
I understand with automation you could use tags in a way to handle this, but why? That seems rather cumbersome for a basic feature which is already included in most other CRM-style platforms.

This is such an important feature and I was shocked it was not already a feature. Segmenting your customer database on CLV is really effective. I’ve worked out a way to use the V2 API to create invoices and mark them as paid from third party shopping carts … so I can store all the sales records in high level. Now I just need to be able to pull a basic sum total of all the sales. Like others perhaps I was spoilt before with infusionsoft. But the time came when I had to make the switch.

Sales & Marketing: But is missing the total SUM. This could be helpful having it combined with reports for measuring ROI

Raúl Gómez: Could we do total sum via a workflow perhaps?

Sales & Marketing: please include the ability to manually add previous payments so the contact can be up to date (ie previous payments they made in other platforms before migrating to HighLevel)

I will add here that we need to be able track sales from wordpress purchases made through email campaigns.

It would be great to see this also with Shopify and Woocommerce integrations.

This would be amazing for churches too for donations!

I have several non-profits who use my GHL for their marketing but are currently unable to completely shift from platforms like, "Network For Good" due to Donor tracking.
Specifically the ability to track donations over time, lifetime donations, and if they miss a donation to be able to fire off workflows/notifications to internal and external users and contacts.

YES!!! We need to be able to go to customer profile in the CRM and see how much they've spent with us.
It would be amazing if there was also a 'filter' option to see physical products vs digital products vs services, or the whole total.
Also need to be able to filter by time (mtd, qtd, ytd, last year etc... OR custom dates).
AND we need to be able to create smart lists to segment based on amount spent (like to send a Christmas gift to every client/customer who's spent over $5K with me this year, for example)

I would also like to separate the customers into different groups based on either amount sold or number of purchases. Like they get a "fan", "super fan", or VIP icon or something. You could also create a grouping of products that they get a badge for buying them all or missing one.

We really need this!
I'd love to accurately gauge the impact of my emails on sales within GHL.
A great example is Klaviyo and Shopify. Whenever I send an email campaign or set up a flow/automation in Klaviyo, I'm able to see the metrics on opens, clicks, and SALES that were attributed to that email.
This would be a GAME CHANGER if this existed in GHL. I feel like I'm flying blindly with my marketing campaigns or have to take extra steps to tie my sales back to my emails. It should just be easy to click on the emails that were sent and know that I made $2K on one and $50 on another. Especially since the transactions are occurring within the same software.
