The best way for us to use taxes in Stripe is with the "Automatically calculate tax" feature. It show up the right way for the customer and it works like a charm.
➕ Add a toggle button in the product if it is synced with Stripe "Automatically calculate tax"
➕ Add a toggle button to set this as a default for all Stripe products.
➕ Have the automatically calculated tax from Stripe show up in the GHL taxes list.
Her is the API:

✅ Sync Stripe and GHL taxes

The GHL tax dosent show up correctly in Stripe... We have to go into Stripe and turn it on for every trial customer. And, we have to do a annoying work around for direct payments.
If we use only GHL tax, the heads-up-emails from Stripe dosent include/show the tax...

it's not possible without adding inputs for extra business information that's required for taxes.
currently we can collect the information as custom fields, but stripe doesn't have access to this.
I've created a ticket asking to add extra fields for business information in the payment flow.
Once we're able to collect the information, we're going to be able to pass it to Stripe

❌ Now GHL tax shows up as its own product line in Stripe, making the tax calculation show up in a weird way
✅ It should be synced as an actual Stripe tax
❌ Now the GHL tax is not displayed correctly to customers
✅ Syncing the tax would fix this issue

The tax from GHL shows up as a independent item/product...
