Enhanced Sales Tax Reporting for E-commerce Orders
M

Go High Level’s automatic sales tax collection on products is a great start, but businesses also need the ability to generate detailed tax reports. Specifically, merchants must see taxes broken down by county (or other jurisdiction) and tax category. This data is critical for filing with the states where they have nexus.
Why It Matters
Compliance: Accurate, jurisdiction-specific tax reports help businesses stay compliant with local regulations.
Efficiency: Automating tax reports saves time and reduces errors, eliminating the need to manually extract and organize sales tax information.
Transparency: Providing clear summaries of collected sales taxes builds trust and clarity for merchants managing their finances.
Suggested Functionality
Automated Tax Reports: Ability to generate a downloadable CSV or PDF with line items for each jurisdiction’s tax rate, taxes collected, and taxable amount.
Filter by Date Range and Product Category: So merchants can quickly isolate relevant periods and tax categories for filing.
Integration with Accounting Tools: Option to export or sync reports to QuickBooks, Xero, or other popular accounting software.
By adding these reporting features, Go High Level would deliver a complete, hassle-free sales tax solution and strengthen its platform for e-commerce professionals.

Right now you go to Payments > Transactions > Export > then figure it out in your spreadsheet.

Clifford Paulick This is a mess to try to figure out. You shouldn't need AI to analyze a spreadsheet to give you an accounting of sales tax. This should 100% be built into the platform, it's the only thing stopping us from using it as a CRM. The quickbooks integration adds sales tax as a line item so that is equally unusable.
