Resume subscription cancelled in the absence of payment

Currently, when a subscription (e.g. 12 monthly payments) is cancelled after a failed card, there is no way to resume it. It's blocking 😓
We would like to be able to restart the subscription where it left off, with an updated map, without starting from scratch. Example: a customer paid 7/12, his card expires, we want him to resume on the 8th payment, not at the beginning.
📌 This case is super common for those who sell offers in split payments.
🙏 It would be great to have:
-An option to “Resume cancelled subscription”
-Be able to update payment information.
-Receive a notification when this happens.
Or an API/interface that allows you to recreate a subscription from a #X payment
