LEGAL tax ID numbers in invoices

In the tax settings on payments you add this number, it should be displayed on the associated tax line after the subtotal on all financial transactions that display tax. Especially in Canada you legally have to display your tax id (GST/PST/HST/QST) number on every invoice.

Hi GoHighLevel team!
It would be incredibly helpful to have a Tax ID (VAT/Company ID) field as an optional input during the checkout process.
This feature would allow us to properly collect tax or billing information from customers—whether they are individuals or companies—so we can generate accurate invoices that comply with local tax regulations.
Right now, there’s no built-in way to capture this information automatically at checkout, which means we have to follow up manually with clients to request their tax details.
Suggested Implementation:
• Add a customizable “Tax ID / VAT Number” field in the checkout form.
• Allow it to be marked as optional or required depending on business needs.
• Include the collected Tax ID in the customer’s billing and invoice data.
This would make invoicing smoother and more professional, especially for businesses operating in countries where tax identification is mandatory for invoices.
Thanks for considering this improvement!

Yes! We need this in NL too. Right now the invoices are not compliant with tax rules

This needs to be added to wallet recharges as well. GHL only provide receipts for the wallet recharges at the moment.
