When people ask for “event calendars with ticketing,” what they’re really trying to do is sell and manage tickets with some automations around event management, not book appointments.

Right now, events get forced into calendars or funnels, which creates workarounds. An event ticket isn’t an appointment - it’s a thing you sell.

It would make more sense if events were treated like a product with a date, time, location, and optional capacity. That product could then be shown on a website or funnel as a calendar view or list, instead of trying to turn the calendar into a ticketing system.

GHL already handles products, checkouts, and digital tickets. The missing piece is an event-style product and tickets that include a unique ID per attendee for check-in or tracking

This would solve most event requests without overcomplicating the calendar feature, and it fits better with how people actually run events.

Note: We're already using products to ticket and it works great for all of our automations, etc. I'm using a website plugin to display the missing information, which I do think could be easily added to the products area. I'm happy to chat about this further, I am an expert on event ticketing and management.
