Is there an update? Sales & Marketing I am working for a nonprofit and this would be essential if we can give the option of paying the service charge or at least have the system recognize if it is debit then it can not be charged with the service charge.

The current processing fee setup feels incomplete and misleading. The invoice specifically labels it as a credit card processing fee, yet when the fee is enabled, it applies to every payment method instead of only credit cards. That creates confusion for both us and the client.
Yes, we can manually turn the fee on or off per invoice, but that is not a realistic solution. If the fee is described as a credit card processing fee, it should only apply to credit card transactions by default. Having to manage that manually on every invoice is unnecessarily cumbersome and makes the feature feel poorly thought out.
This becomes even more frustrating when trying to encourage ACH payments, since ACH should be the clear exception to that fee, not included in it. As it stands, the functionality does not match the label or the intended purpose, and that makes the feature feel incomplete.

This is incomplete! Please give us more flexibility especially like what they are saying here: https://ideas.gohighlevel.com/invoicing/p/different-processing-fee-for-cc-vs-ach

Please mark this as not complete! It's clear in the comments below this is a 1/4 baked solution.
I created another enhancement request in case this isn't being looked at:

Please upvote this one too.

This new feature only allows for 1 fee, I have international clients that use their cc's and that charge is 4.4% not 2.9%. Also ACH is .8%. Can it not be done automatically? Desigfiles.co uses stripe and their payment system automatically detects and adjusts the fees.

This one is NOT complete as it currently sits I don't think. It passes the fee along no matter what payment method they use, and at least where I'm at, we're not legally allowed to do that. We can pass along fees, but not if they're using ACH or debit cards, even if those cards have the Visa/Mastercard logo.
Additionally, many merchants have limits to how much you can pass along... so we have to be able to set a rate for Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Diners, etc if we're just putting in a percentage.
Noomerik handles this already, but it doesn't integrate well with HighLevel (yet). You might can look at what they're doing to get inspiration for how to fix it so it's legally usable for more users.

Robert Diaz can you please elaborate on what points 1-3 are and what the 4th point is?

Ashley DePiano Points listed were very clear. You already launched the 4th one, waiting for the first 3 points. I would also add the ability to specify a set fee amount in addition to a % based fee.

Robert Diaz I can't find them either! Where can I see them? What has been implemented so far?

Sales & Marketing I am also requesting that this feature be connected to the "Collect Payment" functionality within the Forms. Once use case for this: I have an insurance company I work with. That want to have a payment functionality on their website so customers can go on, input their invoice number, put down how much they want to pay, and this feature should automatically add the fee to the payment. This feature was launched at about 80% completion rate. Please re-open it and have the devs look at it again...

This is nice, but to go with this we also need the ability to ONLY apply the credit card processing fees to Credit Card transactions. As this is currently implemented, the fee is included on ALL payment types. What if the client decides to pay with check? Or Bank transfer that has lower rates? We need some conditional logic added to associate the fees with the appropriate payment type
