Ability to Charge Failed /Unpaid Payments due to a Subscription in the Subscription

We need the ability to charge a failed /unpaid payment balance due on a subscription within the subscription once the customer has updated their card details using the "share payment update link" from the subscription so that the payment charged will be associated with that subscription.
Right now GHL's subscriptions will make 3 attempts to debit payment, then will not try again until the next due date which leaves the balance unpaid. When and if the customer happens to update their card after the 3 attempts there is currently no way to charge them within the subscription they specifically owe or if we use the "charge now" option in Contacts no way to charge a payment and have it recognized as being a part of any specific subscription.

I think this may resolve the issue I'm facing when someone misses a recrurring monthly payment because their card failed 3 times. Eventually they come back to us and say they're unable to make a payment for whatever reason...Recently, I was told by support to send them the same offer link but I was hesistant because my original offer link is titled 11 month payment plan and they already paid for 2 months so I was worried it would reset the subscription somehow. Since the subscription was already inactive, I ended up creating a new 9 month payment plan for them to continue on with access to the same product (course) hoping they could pick up where they left off.

Darryl Addison same thing happened to me with two customers..and GHL doesn't send out a failed payment email to us or the customer either...i'm semi new to the platform and just happened to check the payments (which the dashboard is another hot mess situation in and of itself!!) and noticed the failed payments. one was just a matter of them transferring money into that account, so i didn't need to send the update cc link...i ended up doing the same thing...cancelling subscription, creating a 1 time invoice and creating a new subscription...this is a basic feature! ALL my previous CRM 's have this type of feature, so it never occurred to me that GHL didn't!!!
