Funnels need a direct integration through Pixel ID so that our clients don't need to MANUALLY install their FB pixel codes into a funnel. This is an outdated method in the marketing world. Softwares like Kajabi, Teachable, Clickfunnels, Samcart and more all allow the ability to simply add your pixel ID into the software, and ALL facebook conversion events and pixels will fire correctly. WITHOUT the need for manual installation. GHL has this ability on FORMS but not within the funnels as a whole.
