Feature Request: Self-Hosting Option for Go High Level (e.g. via AWS or Azure) to Support GDPR and Data Residency Requirements
under review

As Go High Level continues to grow globally, especially in the European market, data privacy and compliance are becoming critical concerns for agencies working under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Currently, Go High Level is hosted on US-based servers, which means all customer data is transferred outside the EU. While Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) offer a legal mechanism for this, the reality is that many European businesses—agencies and clients alike—prefer or require full data residency within the EU to minimize legal risks and meet local compliance expectations.
👉 That’s why we’re proposing a Self-Hosting Option:
Give agencies the ability to host Go High Level in their own infrastructure (e.g. on AWS, Azure, or another GDPR-compliant cloud provider within the EU or other required regions).
Benefits of this feature:
✅ Full control over data location and security
✅ Easier compliance with GDPR and local privacy laws
✅ Increased trust with EU-based clients
✅ Opens new markets in countries with strict data residency requirements
✅ Reduces friction for enterprise and public sector adoption
This wouldn’t replace the existing cloud offering but would give agencies who need it the flexibility to operate in highly regulated environments—something that would make Go High Level stand out in a rapidly evolving privacy landscape.

Highly recommend to partner with Hetzner, who speak your language and likely can offer something to HighLevel's ability to host HighLevel in the country of the business. Whether sub-account or agency .
I run my SaaS business here in Germany, and all my clients are english speaking countries and Europe based businesses. I often lose deals when potential customers ask whether their data is stored on AWS servers within their own country or overseas.
At the moment, I have to explain that the data is stored on the AWS cloud by GHL in geographically dispersed locations, and unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee it stays within their country.
This has become a major sticking point, especially for some of my larger clients. And it’s often a deal breaker. I end up losing opportunities simply because I can’t provide certainty around local data storage.
Please consider having an option for Canadian and European agencies, or sub-accounts based in other countries, where they can choose to store their data exclusively in their country data centers.

This has become more urgent as the health department has now officially notified practice owners they are going to take action against practitioners in one sector that have offshore data storage.
As each week passes High Level is becoming more of a business risk :(

We are in the same situation. Our business case requires that all our customers data resides locally in Australia - can we get an update if there is a timeline for delivering this service in Australia for sub accounts?

I totally agree, data storage in Australia would be a win for my Australian business too.

Plase, we need this. It is mandatory to work with medical practices in the EU.

I agree and really do look forward to such an option.
