I'm surprised to see that this is not on the ideas board. We need custom CSS abilities for order forms and the ability add custom fields!

Depending on the product we need to get small amount of additional info. In Clickfunnels we simply add a new field. But the Checkouts in GHL are extremely limited. You can't simply add a new field.
Instead we would need to create a separate form with just one or two input fields. This would be a very alien UX for customers, and the form could easily be skipped over or page closed after making the sale.
I don't how GHL carbon copied CFs entire builder but decided not to copy how the checkout works. Currently this is a deal breaker for moving our funnels and clients to GHL.

This is a HUGE hole in the system for people wanting to buy a gift for someone else. It's comical that you can't add in custom fields.

I don't understand why this isn't an option. When you build a funnel and need additional fields upon purchase, the ability to add custom fields is not there.

Until HL release this must needed feature , It's possible to add custom fields inside a two step order form using custom code. You can check https://www.funnelcare.net/highlevel for this custom coded feature

In Europe, all countries use VAT. Pretty big market, IDK why no-one thinks of this :)
