Please add this ASAP!! I created a new form with 'Collect Payment' module, which in my opinion should work like the order form. But it does NOT register the orders the same way...
1) you cannot use Order triggers (must find a work around trigger) and 2) you have to add many little workflows to attribute the $$ amounts to contacts and affiliates.... This works until there is a glitch and this little workaround breaks.
If you just make your Order forms adjustable this would all be solved!!

Holy...... can't believe this isn't an option. So basic but so important... really a deal-breaker.. might have to find a better option than GHL.

As of today , This is only possible using custom javascript. I wrote this code for some of my clients based on their use case. HL should release this basic feature natively. Check https://www.funnelcare.net/highlevel for some of my other custom coded feature demos for HL

Tareq Mahmud it looks like the pop up wasnt working but all of a sudden it popped up. The buttons were not allowing anything to happen when I sent that message.

Brook Borup is it working now?

Tareq Mahmud yes I was able to sign up via the pop up, but I'm not sure why it didn't work the first time but did when I opened a new window. I just signed up on the free version to check it out. Can you email me brook@myclonesolutions.com? I am interested in potentially working with you to create some custom codes as needed for clients I am working on.

Tareq Mahmud does this allow you to use a First Name and Last Name field and make the Phone number optional?

I'm the 239th vote! This is kinda crazy that it's not prioritized. Custom fields are super important. I've found a workaround, though. I'm using WordPress to host my landing page(s), and i was trying to do a checkout on a GHL funnel with the 2 step order form. No possible way to get attribution of which landing page over to a hidden field on the checkout form!
So what im doing is:
Creating a WordPress checkout page that mimics the 2 step. On step 1, place the custom form collecting all my custom data, then move to step 2, collect the payment data, then step 3, submit all custom+payment data.
From OpenAI:
✅ Summary:
Yes — building a custom WordPress checkout with GHL forms + Stripe or GHL payment is not only possible, it’s a great workaround for the native form limitations:
Feature GHL Native 2-Step Custom WP Flow
Capture attribution ❌ Hacky/manual ✅ Total control
Hide Submit button ❌ Nope ✅ Yes
Modify field behavior ❌ Limited ✅ Full JS control
Unified experience ⚠️ Moderate ✅ Seamless

It's quite unbelievable that I come here and see this has been requested since JANUARY 2023.
First of all, basic features are missing.
Can't separate Full Name into First and Last Name.
What about asking Date of Birth (there are cases where this is important)
What about asking additional text field information vital to the order process that is needed BEFORE payment?
One of the GHL reps told me to create a contact form to collect that information beforehand and then take people to the order form - what a silly idea - it just creates more friction in the order process - people will be forced to complete personal information twice.
Come on GHL.

Completely agree - high need! It's so inconvenient as it currently is. We collect additional customer info in a form on the page after the order has been submitted, but like 50% of people don't fill out the form

Yes please put this on the dev list, we need this info to segment customers

Also there's a lot of fields that can't be translated

we need to be able to add custom fields to checkout forms and be able to HIDE THEM...this is especially important for collecting parameters in the URL for affiliates.
