Would be awesome if we could create a 'Custom Value' that can be used to updated Countdown timers.

Countdown Timer Loads Too Slowly

The countdown timer takes several seconds longer to load on webpages and funnels than most other elements. If this can be fixed, it would be nice, as it is really quite slow at the moment.

Funnel Countdown Time With Set Deadline Date & Time That Expires Forever
B
Bryant Tyson
For true urgency, we need to be able to set a hard date and time for something to expire. So if we do a webinar and pitch an offer that expires in 1 week at midnight EST, and someone clicks on the page after that date & time, they see "This offer is expired" along with alternate content.
And I'm not talking about a Deadline Funnels style counter that only starts counting when they first click the page. No, the time end at a specific time and date no matter when they first view the page... if at all. So if the first time they click the page is after the deadline, they only get to see that it's expired.
Yes, like most things, this can be done manually. But GHL is at its absolute best when automating things!

Dynamic Progress Bars linked to custom values/fields

Dynamically adjust the display percentage based on a value: Custom Value or Custom Field
Use cases:
Progress bar shows as a percentage the remaining coupons, while the raw numbers are displayed
- Remaining coupons
- Fundraising amount

Support Team I feel like this would be an easy one to add and it would make a HUGE difference for usability. We need the page builder element to use custom fields/values to set the date and time.

Any update on this?

This would be awesome and I think it is easy to implement

Sales & Marketing This is still broken to the point where the recurring timer takes over a minute to load and is basically unusable on funnel pages.

The timer should load before the show/hide elements we've selected, so that not all elements be visible before the timer loads.
It's poor user experience and the trust/anticipation/curiosity we try to build is gone, when they see all offers, before hiding.
I've been using timers for years.
"Finale Countdown Timer" by XL plugins
"HurryTimer"
"Thrive Ultimatum"
and "Deadline Funnels"
are the best in the space. Learn from their products.
They all offer evergreen timers, which is the cornerstone of automations and promo campaigns.
Also, let us change the labels for hour/min/sec/, more and more people who are not English speaking are using the platform.

Yes. This would be great for events so that when you set the custom value, it can update the timers automatically.
