URL parameters to fill custom fields in forms

It would be greatly appreciated if we could use URL parameters to pre populate a form field that is a self created custom field, also when the field is hidden in the form
My usecase: I want to create a form where someone can share an email where they go to the form and fill in the email and name of the other person and the other person receives an email with: Hey {{contact.first_name}}, did you know {{other person}} wanted to tell you about...
I asked the GHL support but they told me it was not what the query was intended to be used for... such a shame

This doesn't work for pop up forms for some reason. It would be great to have this option for pop up forms.

You can do this. It’s just a weird way to go about it.
- Attach the form to a funnel/website
- Attach the domain
- When the domain attached Add a “? At the end, then add your URL parameters for first name, last name etc,
- Put that new domain link with URL in parameters in a trigger link. Make sure it works before hand. (You should know if you do it correctly because the custom values will show up in the form fields. I haven’t had luck with date from fields, just a heads up.)
- When you send a trigger link through the system like a workflow, it should autofill the contacts info.
Hope this helps
