At the moment, this behavior is part of the default system design, where:
  • The signature timestamp is captured based on system-level handling and
  • The submission timestamp reflects the account/form timezone settings
Issue:
The system date/time is included at the bottom of the Signature when a copy of the form they just signed is sent to the client. This is confusing to the submitter. Trying to explain to my client to then explain to their client what this is makes it look like a bug and is an unncessary step of complexity and a fail for userability. Which is why I think it's not a bug, but an oversight that could well become an enhancement?
When you sign a document, at 12:09pm but the Signature date says, 2:09am - kind of makes it look like the form is broken.
Support suggested I post this here, it being a 'product-level behaviour.
