Right now, when I do this, clients have to enter their credit card details to check-out even if they have selected the free option. Which is obviously not what we want.
In my case it's a masterclass they can attend live for free and get the recording in VIP paid package.
I have to integrate an additional step in the ordering process which is suboptimal for me as business owner but more importantly for my clients.

The "Don't Require Credit Cards for $0 Purchases" option should work in forms!

It seems like a major oversight that this isn't included in forms. The one/two-step order form is no good because it doesn't let us use custom fields. It seems like a small step to be able to add this feature to forms as well - that lets us limit the number of times a form can be filled (i.e. for a free webinar with only 100 seats) - there is no other method in GHL to limit a form like this.
