Hi GoHighLevel Product Team,
Thank you for your continual improvements to the platform. One gap still forces us to rely on Google Forms: file‑upload limitations. Below is a consolidated feature request that combines higher overall capacity with fine‑grained control—so GHL forms can fully replace external tools for media‑heavy client briefs.
Pain Point
As an interior‑design agency, we need to gather several photos, a short walkthrough video, and one or two PDFs before the first call. The current 50 MB cap (shared across all files) triggers errors, scatters critical data outside the CRM, and breaks our automations.
Requested Solution:
Higher Global Capacity
Increase the per‑submission limit to ≥ 500 MB—ideally unlimited, constrained only by the account’s storage quota.
Allow multiple large files or entire folders to be attached within a single field.
Per‑Field Storage Quotas & Sections
Let sub‑account owners set a custom cap for each upload field.
Support distinct “Images,” “Videos,” and “Documents” sections in one form, each with its own file‑type rules.
Show a progress bar / remaining‑space indicator for every field and gracefully block oversize uploads.
All uploads still draw from the account’s overall storage quota; per‑field limits simply partition that space.
Native Cloud Picker
Add a Google Drive / Dropbox picker so clients can attach assets from the cloud. The shared‑link references should stay tied to the contact record for easy access within GHL.
Business Impact
Seamless data capture keeps every asset inside GHL, eliminating the back‑and‑forth of external forms.
Cleaner pipelines and complete contact records improve qualification, proposal accuracy, and automation.
Broader adoption across industries that depend on rich media—design, real estate, construction, creative agencies, and more.
Best regards,
