Description:
We need the ability to assign permissions for email template folders — similar to how permissions currently work for automation folders (e.g., allowing only Agency Admins to view or edit).
Use Case:
Currently, all users with access to the Email Builder can edit or override existing templates, which creates a risk of accidental changes to approved or branded content. There should be an option to “lock” specific templates or folders so that only authorized users (such as admins) can modify them.
Suggested Functionality:
• Add folder-level permissions within the Email Builder.
• Allow admins to control visibility and editing rights.
• Enable a “lock” feature for specific templates to prevent inadvertent edits or overrides.
Impact:
This would protect brand consistency and prevent accidental content loss or unwanted template modifications — especially in multi-user environments.
