Allow colours in email builder to be driven by custom values

It would be great to enable colours, such as button background colour, horizontal rule colour, and other colour values to be defined by custom values.
This would make it much easier to make a snapshot containing email templates to match a particular sub-account's brand during setup.

Email Builder Enhancement: Use Custom Values for Section Background Images
R

Please give us the ability to place custom values inside section backgrounds in the email builder.
Right now, you have to manually select an image inside every email you create. This makes the process of doing things like changing the header image of every email in a drip campaign a chore. You have to open every single email up and swap it out. Even with saving the section/element, it still takes a lot of time.
It would be a huge time saver to be able to put a custom value in the background, and then adjust that in your settings. Could create CVs for "Drip Campaign 1 Email Header" and "Drip Campaign 2 Email Header" and in about 60 seconds swap out the header image for 2 drips campaigns that would have taken you 3 hours otherwise if they're large campaigns.
This improvement has the potential to help the entire GHL customer base.

This is already possible.
I just tested it out with Custom Values. The problem is, the email builder doesn't apply the custom value in the builder which makes it nearly impossible to design an email using Custom Values.
I hope the Dev team can add this feature of displaying the Custom Values in the builder. I might create a new feedback item for this. The test I did was setting the custom value to #FF0000. Here is what the builder looks like and here is what the actual email looks like.
