**Upsell element is missing critical functionality and your feedback form just deleted my entire report**

While writing this feedback, I clicked the option to attach a file and the form deleted everything I had written. A feedback form should preserve drafted text when someone adds an attachment. Losing the entire report makes an already frustrating experience considerably worse.
The larger issue is that HighLevel’s post-purchase upsell element feels fundamentally incomplete.
First, there is no built-in, configurable “No thanks” action. A post-purchase upsell has two essential outcomes: the customer accepts or declines. If they decline, they need an obvious route to the thank-you or delivery page. Requiring users to manually add a separate generic button creates a visually disconnected result that looks amateurish as though a child assembled the website rather than it being a professionally designed checkout flow.
Second, the upsell block needs a product-description field. Why would someone purchase an upsell based solely on its title, image, and price? The seller needs space inside the actual upsell element to explain:
* What the product is
* What it includes
* Why it complements the original purchase
* What result the customer can expect
* Why they should add it now
Why would this option be excluded? This is
VERY FOUNDATIONAL
The current workaround is to place explanatory copy and button elsewhere on the page, disconnected from the purchase element. Depending on the layout and device, customers may not even see that copy before encountering the offer. And the extra button added looks like an aesthetic choice by a 3rd grader using kidpix.
I have never encountered a professional upsell page structured this way. The absence of a product description and an integrated decline path is concerning enough that it makes me question whether the upsell feature is being used and tested in real e-commerce funnels or whether many businesses are avoiding HighLevel for e-commerce altogether.
Please add:
- A built-in, customizable “No thanks” button or decline link
- Configurable redirect behavior for both accepting and declining
- A full product-description area inside the upsell block
- Controls for the description’s typography, spacing, and placement
- Draft preservation in the feedback form when adding attachments
These are not decorative enhancements. They are foundational requirements for a credible, functional post-purchase upsell experience.
