Tax (GST) not included for shipping costs?

Currently, the e-commerce checkout allows for tax, but it is calculated before shipping is added. This means there is no tax applied to shipping https://curtise-live.tinytake.com/msc/MTA2ODgwNzVfMjQzOTc1MTA This needs to be rectified for it to be legal in Australia and most likely many other countries, as it should display GST after all prices are totalled together https://curtise-live.tinytake.com/msc/MTA2ODgwNzVfMjQzOTc1MTA

There is no functionality to ADD TAX TOshipping costs. The functionalitiy to add shipping costs itself is marked as 'complete' but we need to be able to add a tax to this!

Shipping is also a service/product that has a tax.

Although I wish invoices had a dedicated Shipping and Handling field, I am able to add my own Product and call it Shipping Fee (delivery, parcel, S&H, and any other naming variations)... HOWEVER, for sales tax reporting, there is no relevant Product Tax Code to choose.
Although I don't know why it's there or what it means, I chose to map it to
Optional
(yeah, that's all it's called) so that I can add it and so that it is a non-taxable product.Related:

Exactly, so there should be a functionality to set a tax rate for the shipping costs. And then, at the checkout page of the store, the invoice should include the tax that is calculated on both the product and the shipping cost, either as 2 separated lines, or as 1 total tax amount lines.
