Remove Credit Card Requirement for $0 Transactions After Applying Coupons

Currently, when a coupon code brings the total to $0, the system still requires customers to enter credit card details. This feels unnecessary and can be frustrating for users.
Why This Matters:
• User Experience: It adds an extra step when no payment is actually needed.
• Efficiency: Streamlining the process could reduce cart abandonment and improve customer satisfaction.
Suggested Improvement: Remove the credit card requirement for transactions where the balance is zero after applying a coupon code.
This would make the checkout process smoother and more intuitive for everyone. If you agree, please upvote!

Shaun Clark - This is still an issue for Calendar transactions. Can we get this fixed ASAP? It is really creating an issue for event registrations being simple and easy to use.

Matt Barbey yes 100% agree on calendar. I have a call that I want to charge for the public, but I also want to give it away for free to people as a leadgen opportunity for my inner network.
Nobody will sign up for free if they have to put in their credit card info.

This has not been resolved. This "fix" only works if the product is $0. We are asking for this function to work when the product has a fixed cost but a coupon code brings it down to $0. This is a big difference. Please help.
