Personalized products, like engraving, require a step where the customer enters information at the time of order. Ideally, this would be a very simple thing. Add an option in the product view for "Require Additional Information" - and then when that product is ordered let a FORM be attached. By using the existing FORM system - it allows hyper-flexible customization and multiple questions. This is superior to "notes" or "Additional details" - this is URGENT for me to close a 178 location franchise deal - so please consider this. It should be 3 columns and a little CRUD work.
