Currently you can only be sent a general notification confirming that an order has been placed and how much the order was for, but not with the specific cart details. In order to find out what someone has ordered you need to go into the payment section. It would be nice to have an email summary of this in addition.

This is critically URGENT and a mighty concern for me right now. I just built a new restaurant website and testing it by placing orders. That's when we realized that they can not receive the orders via emails as that feature is not set up under notification. We got the notification for order confirmations and the receipts but the owner did not receive the orders.
The owner is not tech savvy, so navigating to "payments", then "Orders" , then "Order Details", then click on the 3 dots on the right, then click on "View Order" before you can see the order is a lot of steps and a big hindrance to knowing if someone has placed an order.
My customer relies only on their email to receive orders as that's how the previous designer setup their old webpage. Without the feature for them to receive orders by email, they may withdraw their business from us.
Having the "Order Details" page is absolutely great and necessary, especially for feature order tracking. On the other hand we need to cater to those small business owners not willing to learn anything techy.
Thank you for all the work you do to help us meet our customers needs.

Yes - and be able to manage this data in a spreadsheet, esp when delivering a physical product - it's really hard to track orders when you have to look at each one manually and update an orders-placed spreadsheet
